DAY 2 | GCED in Action: Creating Educational Stories with AI

Day 2 of the 2025 Pedagogy Lecture cum Teaching Demonstration opened on June 27, 2025, with a creative recap activity titled “Chain Story” that captured the spirit of human-AI collaboration. Ms. Jean Mae Loremia, facilitator, initiated the symbolic story as the “human,” while participants—acting as the “AI”—worked in groups to continue and complete the narrative. This collaborative storytelling activity set an engaging tone for the final day, reinforcing key themes of creativity, cooperation, and global citizenship.
Highlights of the Day:
Main Workshop:
Participants enhanced their AI-generated stories from Day 1, using selected story frameworks to integrate essential GCED values. They reflected deeply on plot development, character design, and the core values they wished to impart to young learners.
The workshop emphasized the transformative role of storytelling—with AI as a creative tool and educators as storytellers of change.
AI Tools Showcase:
Dr. Rebecca Rosario O. Bercasio introduced a variety of AI tools and platforms for future storytelling and teaching applications—ensuring the workshop’s impact continues beyond the two-day event.

The event closed with the awarding of certificates and group photo documentation, marking the end of an inspiring and mission-driven learning journey.

Thank you, everyone! To all the dedicated educators, pre-service teachers, and partners who made this two-day journey a success, your passion, creativity, and commitment to transformative education through GCED and AI storytelling truly inspired us all.
