EDTalk 2025 Series Concludes with Final Episode on Digital Equity and Responsibility

Legazpi City, Philippines — March 25, 2025 — The 2025 EDTalk Series on Digital Citizenship concluded with a powerful final episode focused on “Ensuring Equitable Digital Access and Responsibility,” capping off a thought-provoking series aimed at promoting inclusive and ethical digital engagement.
The culminating event featured Mr. Dayne N. Fradejas, a faculty member from Romblon State University, as the discussant. Moderated by Ms. Charevel Ferranco, the episode brought together participants from across the country in a vibrant discussion addressing the pressing issues of internet accessibility, digital literacy, and responsible technology use.
In his presentation, Mr. Fradejas underscored the urgent need to bridge the digital divide, especially in underserved communities. He advocated for policies and practices that ensure all individuals — regardless of location or socioeconomic status — can access digital tools and resources. Emphasizing ethical digital behavior, he also called for collective action in fostering a more inclusive digital environment.
Participants engaged in a lively exchange of ideas, reflecting on challenges and solutions related to digital equity, and shared best practices in advancing digital responsibility at the community and institutional levels.
The final episode marked the successful conclusion of the 2025 EDTalk Series, which was organized by the Bicol University Center for Teaching Excellence in collaboration with Romblon State University, the Leaders and Educators Association for the Development of GCED (LEAD-GCED), and the National Coordinating Body for UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines, Inc. (NCBUCP, Inc.).
