𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | A spark of hope now shines from within the walls of Camalig District Jail as it launches the 𝑳𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒓𝒕, a livelihood project in collaboration with FABLAB Bicol!

Through this inspiring initiative, Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) turn reclaimed wood, donated by DENR Albay from road-widening projects, into handcrafted wooden lamps with artistic flair and exceptional quality.

These one-of-a-kind lighting pieces are not just products, they’re stories of transformation, resilience, and creativity.

With the technical expertise of FABLAB Bicol, each lamp is elevated through:

Acrylic laser-printed components

Modern design integration

Electrical and lighting support

Product branding

You can find these creations displayed at the Negosyo Center, Camalig OTOP Hub and local trade fairs.
